What is ImagiNation?
ImagiNation is a premier event of Low Budget Engineers where we are showcasing innovative hardware projects and inspiring the next generation of builders/engineers in Nigeria.
The engineering landscape in Nigeria is pretty underdeveloped and there is so much that can be achieved.
Our hope with ImagiNation is to show people what is possible, showcase amazing hardware projects and startups and inspire more people to go into engineering (or build engineering businesses in Nigeria/Africa.)
How much does the ticket cost?
Tickets for ImagiNation 2025 come in different packages. The regular ticket costs #5,000 while premium ticket costs #15,000. And there will be special perks for those with premium tickets. You can get more details here.
Who is an exhibitor?
An exhibitor for ImagiNation is anybody that has built HARDWARE projects (not software please) and is willing to bring it to the event and demonstrate how it works.
What kind of exhibitions are allowed?
ANYBODY can exhibit provided they have a hardware project.
When is the deadline to get tickets?
The deadline to get your tickets is November 22nd, after which the ticket prices will go to #7,500 for regular ticket and #20,000 for premium tickets.
Would you provide transportation and accommodation?
No. Transportation can be provided on rare occasion (if you are an exhibitor), but there is no provision for accommodation. If you want to be an exhibitor and transportation is an issue, please reach out to Mujidat: +234 907 920 8642
Where is ImagiNation holding (and what day is it)?
ImagiNation is holding on December 5th & 6th, 2025 at Victoria Garden Event Centre, Sango-Eleyele Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, Ibadan, Nigeria.
Is this a student event?
No. It is open to all hardware enthusiasts, whether students, graduates or not.
Who can attend ImagiNation?
ImagiNation is primarily a hardware conference and exhibition but it is open to everybody who wants to come and if you are in a tech related field (engineering, computer science, data science), many things from ImagiNation will be transferable to your field.
